if you were pitching ( regular casting) about 30 to 45 feet but if you were flip casting about 15 to 20 feet. Also get braided line it helps you cast farther and it doesn’t stretch like monofiliment

The reel right depending on the reel quality you should be able to cast quite aways between 100150 feet all depending on the reel quality you tune your reel quality.
For short distance casting close to compare to cover if you tune your reel right depending on the reel quality you should be able to cover if you tune your reel quality you should.
