I have a fishing pol;e that i got at a garage sale and I don’t know if it is any good.?

It is called a cyclone ct35 and I tried looking it up on the internet but i did not find anything. Its a spinning reel and its black. Also how does the drag work? When I try to pull line out the spool does not move. I would appreciate any help.
I do know how to work the drag it just does not work. Even if the front part is all the way off the spool still won't move.
I found out why the reel was sticking. I took it apart and the drag had a spaced that melted to the a part. I pealed off the spacer and put it back on and the drag works now :)

  1. On most spinning reels the drag is located right above the spool. . . Twist the circular object on top left to loosen the drag and right to intensify it. Turning it too far left could eventually open the reel so be careful if you’re actually adjusting it while fishing.

  2. Well I think you answered your own question. . . . . . . if the drag doesn’t work then it’s no good IMO.

  3. First off) if there is a reel on it, it is a rod and not a pole. . . . second on) if the reel doesn’t turn why exactly did you buy it? Quite thirdly) if its older than the internet it is junk or antique, if it doesn’t work it’s junk or antique and if it’s not antique, its junk.

Listen up everyone! there are no good deals on fishing reels or rods at garage sales. When it seems so they are probably stolen, or, unless you see the reel of your dreams in it’s original box, unscratched, and clean and polished. You should know what your dream reel should be worth and it just might be a deal. I bought a japanese trolling motor once at a garage sale and tested it right there under the hood of the garage sale persons car. Gave it to a buddy who had a row boat.
